Ready to take the next step in your activism work? Tools to Change the World Study Circles help you understand what is really happening around you, build a Circle of friends and fellow activists, and move on to taking action. Planet Earth needs impassioned activists working together to raise consciousness and transform society. Tools to Change the World, inspired by P.R. Sarkar’s Progressive Utilization Theory (Prout), offers a compelling vision of a more equitable, sustainable, and just society that will empower people and communities.
This website contains a series of Modules based on Tools to Change the World. You can study them on your own, or better yet, join a group of budding and experienced activists to explore these issues together. In level one you will learn about problems in the world like poverty, depression, stress, poor health, debt, wealth inequality, pollution and climate change, unemployment, hunger, prejudice, and dangerous and inadequate leaders. You will also learn how to interview people so you learn more about their needs, to give powerful speeches that express your newly developing ideas clearly, to use nature to refresh your outlook on life, use centering practices to give your clarity, develop cooperatives to develop your local community, and plan media events to take action.
New modules are being developed for groups that choose to continue beyond the basic 10 session Circle meetings. Our materials are continually being professionally translated into new languages. Or you can use the drop-down box on the sidebar to see a rough translation into the language of your choice.
